“It's my opinion that Nancy is on the leading edge of the next great wave of the kind of work that's most needed at this point in our human evolution: the ability to help people get to the real root of whatever may be weighing them down and/or holding them back and then helping to set them free. I have been sincerely toiling for years and years to discover and change my limiting beliefs, affirm who I truly wish to be and change my mindset so that I can manifest the kind of life I feel I've been called to. And yet, despite all that effort, I've been constantly frustrated that I've not been able to truly shake free of certain patterns of thought, belief and behaviour that I recognize have been holding me back. It's a desperate place, to know you're genuinely trying and still feeling stuck. Well, the positive differences I've experienced in the time since I've been working with Nancy exceed the progress, I'd been able to make on my own even after years of sincere and consistent effort. With Nancy's guidance, I've noticed a tangible difference (for the better) in the way I feel and in how I'm behaving and responding to things on a moment-to-moment basis. Even some of the people who know me best have commented to me that they've noticed a real difference in my overall energy and demeanor. “As I have been increasing the time doing Qigong and moving my body daily, I feel quieter (less busy brain), more at peace, more present, more calm and serene. I feel more safe in my own body and also to share and more aware of feelings that comes to the surface sometimes. As I let them bubble up and express them to process them and then let them go, I experience a freedom and release that is a new experience. I have been sleeping longer for a period during the night, less need to go to the bathroom (used to be every hour or 2) and longer period of rest and deep sleep. The sweetness of the movement and the breathing come together effortlessly, I feel stronger and healthier in my body, more flexible and energized, happier, smiling, singing, humming, being more creative and really experiencing a new sense of peace and calm. I felt safe enough to share some deep emotions and fears in one of our couple session without having the mind taking over, but just expressing what was in my heart and body and even if painful emotions came up it felt very good to express them, voice it out and let them go. I felt lighter and more confident afterward. I see how being consistent and being intentional is moving things physically and emotionally, unblocking parts of me that were stuck.”

“I’m really feeling the impact of the additional mobility and I’m noticing that it’s creating space and my muscles are getting more used to it as I’m getting more mobile and stronger. I spend most of my time in front of a computer and there’s a lot of that “chicken neck” happening, so getting my head stacked above my body is really making a difference. In the past, I’ve had cramps across my ribcage and I’m noticing that they are happening, but they are way shorter. My ribcage is opening up. And every time I bend down to get the dogfood at the bottom of the container, I cannot believe that my legs and my hips do not hurt any more. It is crazy! “I lost my footing the other day and I landed flat on the front of my body. My whole body went into shock for about two hours. I was so surprised that I was able to recover so fast, and I know it’s because I’ve been practicing these movements. I like the way you taught it and I like that I can bring it into any part of my day. It’s so bizarre that such little movements have shifted my entire body. At the beginning of one class my right calf was locked up and at the end of class, it was gone!”

“It’s nice to finally do something that doesn’t cause me pain. Whenever I was doing other exercises and stretching, I was trying to get out of pain. I’m always thinking that I have to get into pain to get out of pain. It’s really nice to have something to help myself without causing pain. I like that I can start with 5 minutes. Then once I’m doing it, I’m often motivated to do more. This is great for people who have chronic pain because most exercises and stretching gives us discomfort. It gave me the confidence to know I can do things and I can move. When people are in chronic pain, they stop moving because they are terrified of the pain. My shoulder pain was reduced a lot. Each time I did it, it released more. I like that I can do these movements from anywhere. It makes such a difference for being such small movements.”

“It’s amazing how quickly these movements change my state of mind. Qigong relaxes your mind and your body and gives you something to start moving, feeling better and healing without hurting. I was surprised how these small movements could create such big improvements for me. It seems so silly almost. When I felt pain during the day, I would find the time to just start doing some of the movements and it really helped to reduce that pain.”

“I love these smaller movements. I’m on a computer all day. I set my timer for certain times, and I’d stop and literally go through all the movements. It was a game changer for me. These small breaks keep me focused and moving and I have something to look forward to. It’s smaller chunks. I feel very relaxed and very peaceful. I really liked the “Coles notes” you gave us and the videos. I really appreciated these as they helped me to keep me on track so I could embed these moves into my day.”

“I’m much looser now. I like isolating the parts of the body. I wasn’t doing that before. It feels good and it’s making me more flexible. I like it because I’m using the body in different ways than I’ve ever done before. I walk every day, so I like the ones with the feet because it’s making me move them again in a different way, which is good as it’s stretching them a bit. The moves are so different than anything I’ve ever done before and I feel so relaxed. My aim from taking this class was to learn ways to improve my range of motion as I age, and I did find that I did improve this over this 4-week course. I also want to reduce my risk of falling as I age. These exercises are very different and very good.”

I highly recommend Nancy and her coaching program. I found myself stuck in a situation that I just couldn’t figure out what to do. I was quite satisfied with my job, but I wanted more. I wanted to help people in even more meaningful and significant ways and become a coach. I had qualifications to do that. But I lacked the clarity on what exactly my goals should be and the self-confidence to go after them. Disempowering memories from the past held me back. I was stuck in my own negative self-image. I just couldn’t think of myself as an entrepreneur. Instead of enjoying my new journey, I stressed out about it. This caused lack of action and the lack of progress caused me to get stuck even more. My mindset was negative and the cycle of immobility perpetuated. Nancy put me at ease from the very beginning. Her kind and thoughtful approach gave me the confidence that I can change. Each session with Nancy starts with relaxing the body with Qigong. You have to focus on these super slow movements and so there's not much space in the mind for negative thinking. We proceed by relaxing the mind to achieve a deeply relaxed state of mindful awareness. In this state, I was able to access my own intuition and find my own answers. Nancy guided me through a very gentle yet powerful deep process. She always encouraged me to challenge myself and supported me in the process. I'm very grateful to Nancy for helping me discover and realise my true potential. Me and my clients will benefit from this positive transformation for years to come. By helping me get clarity, get unstuck and start moving in the right direction, Nancy is going to help many.
